Blog posts should be related to computer architecture and address issues relevant to the community. Articles not relevant to computer architecture community will not be accepted.
Guidelines:
- Blog entries should be concise (between 250 and 1000 words) on a subject relevant to computer architecture, and should be submitted in Word format to tccablog@ieee.org.
- Blog posts should be informative, coherent and convey a central message with a clear title related to the blog content.
- As much as possible, citations should be embedded as URLs to relevant pages for further reading.
- Descriptive figures and videos are preferred (a picture is worth a thousand words…)
- It is upon the author to seek permission for any content for which they do not hold copyright.
- Authors retain copyright to their content.
- Blog authors will be required to submit a brief bio (2-3 sentences) that will be published on the website. As an option, the authors may choose to include their email if they have no objection.
Blog Policy:
- The editors determine whether the proposed blog entries can be published and if deemed appropriate, the timeline for publication.
- The editors may consult with IEEE TCCA leadership and Executive committee members regarding certain blog entries to check if they are appropriate for publication.
- Posts with inflammatory, discriminatory, offensive or inappropriate content will be rejected.
- The blog authors can appeal the editors’ decision to the TCCA communications committee chair.
- Comments may be subject to inspection and inappropriate comments will be removed at the discretion of the editor at any time.
- A single post regarding specific ballot items (candidate, issue, etc.) is allowed up to one week prior to the start of an election. Subsequent contributions about the same item will be directed to the comments section of the initial post.
